Dr. Mohammed is a board-certified psychiatrist with expertise across child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, and the founder of Zen Psychiatry PLLC. His clinical work spans outpatient psychiatry, consultation-liaison services, and neuromodulation — including TMS therapy for treatment-resistant depression and OCD.
He is a published researcher who has presented nationally and internationally, has served as core faculty in the psychiatry residency at St. Joseph's Medical Center / New York Medical College, and holds an appointment as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. He is a past President of the West-Hudson Psychiatric Society.
He integrates mindfulness and holistic principles into everyday practice, and is committed to collaborative, culturally sensitive, and innovative psychiatric care across all stages of life. He is multilingual, and has received numerous awards for clinical excellence, teaching, and research.
